About “Yellow Era”
"Yellow Age" is a social allegory disguised as science fiction. The film uses a high-concept design and the "art of misdirection" to explore humanity's weaknesses. Yellow initially represents hope and redemption before becoming a cosmic visual metaphor. The extreme use of saturated yellow against a black-and-white world represents humanity's greed, blind obedience, and self-destructive tendencies when facing the unknown. Higher-dimensional beings introduce a can of "paint", while humanity's internal strife and fanaticism complete its own destruction.
